Community Craft Month
Join various RDL staff members and community members to participate in our first community craft month program. Crochet, knit, or weave pocket hearts and mini afghans to distribute throughout the community. Patterns and materials, as well as teaching help, will be available throughout the month.
Launch Date Saturday, February 1st from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Drop-in Dates (when someone would be available to help you learn), or if you just want to stitch with other people: Wednesday, February 5th, 10-12; 3-5, Friday, February 7th, 10-12, Wednesday, February 12th, 10-12, Monday, February 17th, 3-5, Thursday, February 20th, 9-11, Friday, February 21st, 10-12, Saturday, February 22nd, 10-12, Friday, February 28th, 10-12; 3-5. You are welcome to come any day you wish to sit and stitch!
Patterns and yarn will be available upon request at the front desk in the adult Department.
All items collected throughout the month will be packaged and distributed back into the community. There will be a pole for patrons to participate in where they are distributed.
